Start Some Good
And if you don’t want to start some, contribute to others. This guy wants to create a better public library after books saved his life. This group is raising funds for an ambulance that’ll pick up Ugandan women in labor.

We were very lucky that our hike along the old Nakasendo road was during the Momijiga season. That’s the Japanese term meaning changing of leaves. Along the trail, the leaves were amber, red, orange and yellow.
The hike started from Nagiso to Tsumago, then to Magome where we stayed in Tajimaya, a ryokan run by an 8th generation family.
The next day was a hike to Nakatsugawa,. This route is not as touristy as Tsumago-Magome since most of the markers were in hanjin. We hiked to Shinchaya then to Ochiai and finally to Nakatsugawa.

Indeed Senator Miriam Santiago may be likened to Thor with her fearless, feisty remarks during the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing for Janet Napoles. Noteworthy:
Sen Santiago: Kung si Enrile ang most guilty, sabihin mo na para di ka ipapatay. #BantayKaban
Sen Santiago: they should be called cockroaches or a**holes, but usually they’re called press agents.
The news last night showed our feisty senator [in a press briefing] stating that the PDAF mastermind is Sen. Enrile. She said “Si Enrile! His paternity is unquestioned, his DNA confirmed.”
