Repertory Philippines’ Next Fall is definitely a must see! It is a modern romance play with Bart Guingona (2nd to the right) and David Blanco (far right)  leading the cast. I’m not sure why Manila is not receptive considering that half of the male population is gay. The story revolves around a couple struggling over their differences - one is openly gay and an atheist and the other, closeted with very strong christian views. I can relate because two of my siblings are born-again christians. So, it may be the religious content that’s putting off my countrymen. Anyway, I do wish you all see it. The play is currently running weekends at Onstage Theater,  Greenbelt 1 until February 5, 2012. Ticket prices are P800 center, P600 side and P400 balcony.
